Which hominid group would you have wanted to "hang" out with for a day? Why?
Who do you imagine would have the most interesting daily life? Frantic, scurrying little Australopithicus Afarensis? Fire-starting, traveling Homo Erectus? Would you have enjoyed group hunting with Homo Sapien Neanderthalensis? You have probably already imagined what their lives were like and which group you would have been excited to witness. Tell us about it and be sure to explain why they are so interesting to you in 5-7 sentences. Make sure you include the following in your post paragraph:

If i was able to hang out with any group it wwould be homo erectus. It would be this group baceause they were the first group to make fire. They also were the first to were clothes. Another reason is they skinned animals. They would use tools to spear food with things found on the floor like sticks.That is why i would want to hang out with this gruop.
ReplyDeleteI would go with the homo sapiens sapiens because they was able to make fire so the food we ate was not posinos and they had so much food I wouldn't starve to death.And they had alot of colthes so I wouldn't be cold all night and for free time I would paint with the grown ups.

i want to hang out with homo Sapiens Sapiens because they're more fun to ang out with and more smarter than all of the hominids besides homo erectus they know how to hunt and create art they traveled further and more taller.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite hominid is Homo Erectus.This is my favorite hominid because they was the first to make fire and they made clothing.They can walk and run better than the first and second hominid and their brains were bigger than the two hominids.

The reason why I picked Homo Sapien Neandrethalensis is because they can make man-mad etools to skin animals and protect themselves from predators.Also they can't talk and the can walk on 2 feet to carry me from danger.(SIKE!!) Also I can talk forever and ever If I wanted to,because...THEY CAN'T TALK YET HA!!HA!! get It?

My favortie group of Hominds is homo sapiens sapiens because there good at drawing pictures.There also the tallest hominds.Homo sapiens sapiens have more time to paint.This is why I like Homo sapiens sapiens.

I would like to hang out with all of the hominids.The hominid I would most likley like to hang out with is Homo sapien neanderthalensis.The reason why I would like to hang out with them because they are wise and very strong.This hominid can also protect themselves from certian animals.That is the reason why I would like to hang out with Homo sapien neanderthalensis.
ReplyDeleteI would hang out with Homo Erectus.The reason why is because they invented fire.They also invented clothing. If I were to pick another hominid before them I would thow up because they are naked.They also don't wear cloths.I would ask the Homo Erectus how did they inevent fire and clothing.That's why I would hang out with the Homo Erectus.,

There are many different types or hominids but only one of them are my favorite.My favorite type of hominid is Homo Sapien Sapien.This hominid is my favorite because they are taller, they traveled farther, and they used sophsticated tools.Also, they were great hunters and they created art.Those are the reasons why Homo Sapien Sapien is my favorite type of hominid.What's your favorite type of hominid.

ReplyDeleteThe hominids I would like to hang out wit is Homo Sapien Sapien. I pick Homo Sapien Sapien because I would love to see different art they make. Also i dont want to hang out with someone who's shorter than me so i'll hang out with them.I also would like to see how they use there tools different from any other Hommo.I would like to see what kinda clothes they wore,instead of seeing me and my firends in skinny jeans. Then i would love to see how they live in a cave. Although they live in a cave i bet you they eat and there fire is same as ours. They aslo help their community,I can see what they do and bring it back to my community.That is why I LOVE homo Sapien Sapien.

This was my favorite hominid because this was the first hominid to make fire, and they were smart enough that each of them to get a job to make their lives better.Also they were cloth because the others homind were naked.This is why this is my favorite hominid.

ReplyDeleteThe Homo Erectus were the second spieces of hominids to walk the earth.They created fire and used tools to cut through the thick layers of f animals fur they were known as the "Handyman".They used fire to stay warm and cook their foods which was good for their digestive system.They had migrated from Africa to Asia.How did they get there?Since they walked upright it was an advantage for them to get to places farther without delay.
ReplyDeleteThere are many different types of hominids that have been discovered in the world.I would have to choose to hang out with the Homo Sapien Neanderthalensis. I would hang out with that crew because they are knew how to protect themselves and, how to do certain things that the modern humans are doing now.They are able to use simple tools to survive.In my opinion this group is one of the best.

ReplyDeleteif i can go back to time to 1 million year b.c.e. the group i well hang out with is homo sapien neanderthalensis.i think that the were the strong hominids that were living that time. and the were first to have the most tool's. and they diding not adapt differnt enionment and that cool becaus i dont like to adapt to differnt enionment. i think some can go back in time.....
ReplyDeleteMy favorite hominid was Homo Sapiens Sapiens, because the invented simple tools. They make fire and they made tools for engraving, and sculpting. They move from Africa from there they spread to Europe, Asia, and Australia. They migrated to North and South America. They use bones, antler, and stone to create a wide variety of tools. They use does tools to make shelter and clothing.

I would like to hang out with Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis.I would hang out with them because they cared about each other and they lived in a comuininty.They each had a job and they were able to teach others what they had learned so they can pass it on with other Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis.That is why I would hang out with Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis.
ReplyDeleteThe group I would hang out with would be Homo Sapien Neathertallenses because this group was really good at hunting in groups and I love hunting in groups. Also the have a a sense of community to tech and care for everyone in the group. So if someone dies they would be respected by there fellow people in a ritual seromony. That is why I choose to hang out with this group of prehistoric humans or homonids. There is also one more reason while they do all the work I can get the food they hunt as a young one heeeee. ReplyDeleteif i were to go back to the time homo sapiens sapiens that would be the group i would want to hang out with.I would hang out with that group because the were the first to cave painters and express what the were feeling through painting.they also were the first ones to make musical instruments.I would also hang out with them because they were able to find the most effective way to hunt out of all the hominids.if i were a historic hominid i would want to be with the homo sapiens sapiens for those specific reasons

ReplyDeleteThe Hominid group that I would want to hang out with if I went back in time is the homo sapien sapiens becuase they travled farther to hunt and they paint picures on cave walls to probabily show their creativity and they also had the strength to chop down trees for fire wood so they won't be cold they would also be fun to be with because they could carve animal skin off their food so they won't eat the skin and fur.
ReplyDeleteI would hang out with all the hominids.The one that I would hang out with more is Homo sapiens Neanderthalensis because they are bipeds and they teach their youngs. Also they have larger brains than Homo Sapiens sapiens but they didn't use it wisley. They hunt in groups as an communitity. They use fire however they use it to cook,and they keep warm. They can hold their youngs on their arms because they are bipeds(walk on 2 feet). They also had smiliar homes such as caves. In conclusion that is why I would hangout with Homo sapiens Neanderthalensis.

If there was a hominid group that I would like hang with it would be the Homo Sapiens Sapiens.I would prefer to hang around with them becaus they are they are closest to us and they are smarter.I also would like to hang with them because they have more way of survival and they have a sense of community which means that they do not live other living beings.They would stay with me more then the other groups of hominids because they hunted better.And the last reason that I would want to hang with the Homo Sapiens Sapien is that I would learn how to make good tools that are made with thing in nature.
ReplyDeleteI would hang out with all the homonids. I would most likely hang out with homo sapiens sapiens. They are us from 1 million years ago. They had advanced tools. I think if they really wanted to they could have invented the t.v. They were the most advanced out of the hominids. Homo Sapiens Sapiens wasn't very smart. Compared to Australopithecus Afarensis Homo Sapiens Sapiens looks like a genius. If I met a homo Sapiens sapiens i would hang out with him or her. I learned that they like to draw. I like to draw but i stink at it. That is why homo sapiens sapiens is my favorite homind. HOMO SAPIENS SAPIENS R.U.L.E
ReplyDeleteThe group that I would hang out with for a day would be Homo Sapiens Sapiens because they had a good capability to draw. I love to draw and so do they.I think it will be fun to hunt with them because I never went hunting before.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite hominid is Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis because they loved being together. Although they did not have simple tools like Homo Sapiens Sapiens, they still had food. Two things that are different between Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis and Homo Sapiens Sapiens is that Homo Sapiens Neanderthatlensis had bigger brains than us! A fact is that they did not use their brains as we do now. In conclusion these hominids had something we did not have, that means they have taught us something we did not have and that is knowledge (all though they did not use it much)!

They also found many ways to communicate in different ways and one way was by art. Also they could want on both feet and travel far just like us. They also were respecful a hominid died and they through that hominid an funeral and every hominid was order to go up during the wake. Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis was a very normal group and they were very tall and they would call me shack the (basketball player) because back in their time it was the oppisit of what we say as I read at the Libary they would think that a mouse was a gaint and run away from it. In conclusion this group of hominids are similar to us humans today, this is on what hominid group i could be very excited to them.

ReplyDeleteI think if I was going to hang out with one of these hominids I would choose to hang with Homo sapiens neanderthlensis. An I would like to be with them because they could maybe show me some good hunting skills and teach me how I could teach someone how to be a great hunter. Then people would just keep passing it on to others as they go on. Also maybe they would of been able to show me how they make the tools such as throwing spears and bow & arrows. These are reasons why I would hang out with the Homo sapiens neanderthalensis.

Another thing about Homo Sapien Neaderthalensis is that they have feelings for others. When a new baby is born they get animal skin and put it on the baby. This shows that they have characteristics just like us.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite hominid is the Homo Sapien Neaderthalensis because I feel as though they are more experienced with life such as making things. Some things were fire, tools, and clothing. If I had to choose to live with any hominids I would choose to live with them because I feel that they are smarter and more independent. Reading about Neanderthalensis I learned that not just only later humans found a way to get around they did too. I think they are the smartest hominids that ever lived.
